As you enter 2007, you may consider making resolutions for the new year. Some people make many and keep few. Some make a few resolutions and manage to keep them all. Some make none and merely continue into the new year as they have in the previous year.

Resolutions are easily made out of the desire for a new year to be better than the one before. If you make resolutions, make them ones that are easily kept. A few ideas for resolutions: resolve to spend less and save more; resolve to take less and give more; resolve to do more for others and ask less of others for yourself … you get the idea.

The first day of a new year is really no more than what you make of it. A new year, each new day for that matter, gives us a chance to consider whether change is in order. If we choose to make changes, then we might best consider making changes that improve ourselves and others.

Time is money. And like investing cash, much of what we get out of our time is a consequence of what we choose to do with it. Make your new year happy by making resolutions that enhance your life and those whom you love. Again, have a Happy New Year and a great 2007!
