How to Register TedCo Software's Financial Calculators
Following your purchase you will receive an email message containing information about your order including your personal User Name and License Key. This information is required to convert a trial version into a fully-licensed copy of the software. In this registration example, we'll use screen shots of Real Estate Calculator Suite to show you step-by-step instructions. NOTE: Please make sure you have installed the latest version of the product you have purchased. Step 1 - Locate the "Buy Now!" MenuNotice that the "Buy Now!" is the last menu on the right, just past the "Help" menu.
Step 2 - Click the "Buy Now!" MenuLocate the "Enter Your License Key ..." item at the bottom of the menu.
Step 3 - Click "Enter Your License Key ..."Click the "Enter Your License Key ..." item to open the window which allows you to enter your User Name and License Key.
Step 4 - Enter Your User Name and License KeyType your User Name and License Key in the proper locations and locate the "Validate My Key" button.
Step 5 - Click "Validate My Key" and Check Your ResultsAfter your click the "Validate My Key" button you will see one of two responses. If your information was entered correctly, you will see the message below on the left. However, if you mistyped your User Name and License Key, you will see the message on the right. If your information is not accepted, please try again if you may have made a typing error. After successfully registering the software, click the "OK" button.
Step 6 - You Have Registered the Financial Calculator!Notice in the picture below how the "Buy Now!" menu and button have been removed. Your printed reports will no longer indicate your use of a trial version and you will no longer see the information about purchasing when you run the software. Finally, click the "Help" menu and select "About ..." at the bottom of the menu. The "About ..." information will indicate the software is licensed to you and will show the date the license was issued. |
